We’re delighted to announce the promotion of Nichol Gilstin to Operations Director at Isoler, marking an exciting new chapter for both Nichol and the business.
Nichol first joined Isoler in August 2022 as Operations Manager, bringing with her almost 30 years of experience in the automotive industry. After working across a variety of operational roles, she decided to make a bold move into a new sector – a decision that has proved transformative both for her career and for Isoler’s continued growth.
Reflecting on her journey, Nichol shared that the shift from automotive to building integrity was inspired by a desire for fresh challenges and the opportunity to apply her extensive operational expertise in a new environment. Although she came from a process-driven industry, she quickly realised that many of her skills were transferable. Her structured approach and focus on efficiency allowed her to make an immediate impact, helping Isoler strengthen its internal processes, enhance client communications, and create a stronger foundation for growth.
From her first days in the role, Nichol has been instrumental in bringing end to end stability and organisation across the business. Her efforts have helped the business evolve and develop more robust systems and a clearer operational structure. This groundwork has been vital in enabling Isoler to expand its reach, pursue new opportunities, and increase turnover year on year.
Over time, Nichol’s role naturally evolved to encompass a broader range of responsibilities – from operational management to commercial and end-to-end oversight of organisational processes. Her strategic insight and leadership have been key to shaping the business’s direction and supporting its ongoing success.
Now, as she steps into the role of Operations Director, Nichol is looking forward to guiding Isoler through its next phase of growth. While the day-to-day focus remains on maintaining the high standards and solid structure she has helped put in place, her new position will enable her to drive forward longer-term strategic goals.
“The structure we’ve built has given us a strong foundation,” Nichol says. “Now, with an enhanced senior management team in place, we’re in a great position to strategise and grow even further. It’s exciting to see where the next two years will take us.”
